heavenly notebook

Sony is detemrined to be #1 for notebooks with their Vaio (since, in my opinion, the only good looking notebooks are Apple's Powerbook and Sony's Vaio,) so they've gone for a more sexy ad... who knows, an apple with a bite taken out of it might have been more of a sexy ad!

and with Sony Vaio's built in webcam (like iMac's, but a built in webcam making more sense on a notebook,) Apple better hustle and keep pumping out new gear!

Sony - where notebooks lead right in to a woman's pants. (pay me for that line, Sony! it's a winner!)

White boxes are my best friend

My package arrived in the mail today consisting of two white boxes! What's inside of these two white boxes? things to keep me warm during this cold season! aren't the boxes wrapped nicely? I should wrap myself in the white bow and give myself as a present to someone!

lips made for kissing

although there are nothing but rants and raves about Kiehl's #1 lip balm (which I previously used,) I felt it was time to try something new, so I stopped by Saks and picked up a new lip balm. I tried two different lip balms while I was there; 1 by La Mer, and 1 (which I purchased) by Sisley.

La Mer: "The Lip Balm" felt a little more smooth and creamy than Sisley's, but the scent of it was strong and it turned me off quite a bit.

Sisley: "Confort Creme Lip Balm" was a bit more thick, didn't have a scent, and it applied well to the lips.

While I didn't have La Mer's lip balm on my lips for a while, I can tell you that Sisley's lasts quite a while (which was one reason why I changed from Kiehl's, since it seemed to wear off fast)

Both lip balms (at first) were applied with a q-tip. this easily showed that La Mer's was creamier, while Sisley's was more of a wax type. However, once using the containers, and applying Sisley's with your finger, it easily applies, and feels a lot more smooth when applied normally.

go pick one up!

oh, I also got a lot of free goodies from Sisley :D (two Sisley packets filled with things)

One out of the bunch..

Generally I pretty much hate DSQUARED, but I've got to admit, I love how this coat looks! fur collar, leather cufs, the pockets, the chain, it's great! if it was under the label Cloak, Costume National, or even Dior Homme (which it wouldn't be seen at Dior Homme) people would like it - but because it's DSQUARED people would turn away.. but I think it's hot!

Smooth as silk

Cold weather is here and my hands are starting to get dry, so I made a stop to my bodily repair counter at Saks! Sisley's Hand Cream is the most fabulous hand cream I've ever tried! It's light weight, and smooth as silk! and the Saks bags are adorable this season :D

glow sticks are ready

I picked up Markus Schulz's cd "Without You Near" today, and it's a pretty damn good cd! however, some of his tracks are poorly faded together... other than that, it's a great cd. go buy it on iTunes!

(he looks like a stalker on his cd cover)

on the prowl..

went out about the city tonight, and let me tell you, I think every hot girl was out today.. Wednesday is a good day in the city, I guess!

every girl in low, tight jeans, with high heels... damn.. so many Asian girls around.. if there's a god, he shined some light on me and said "FEAST! FEAST, MY BOY!"

let me tell you.. I had an appetite for some of these girls like a homeless man for a hamburger..

got compliments on my bag, too! if a pair of panties land in your bag, does that count as 2 points or 3? my votes on 3!

brown is the color of love, and tonight, yellow was the color for passion! if only my eyes could record such moments.

horrible music!

hahaha.. so I'm on hold for like 5 hours (5 mins) at paypal, and I'm forced to listen to their crappy music.. I just thought I'd share this.. I hope all of you have to sit on hold and listen to this music!

brown is the color of love for me

I have a lot of messenger bags, but not really any handbags.. so it's time to get some! starting off, I bought a Chanel Ligne Cambon large tote in brown! I've even taken pictures, almost step by step, for those of you who couldn't get one!

long overdue

god, it's been at least a month since I've posted something I bought? :( well, recently I bought the new iPod video 60 gig, and Etymotic earphones (I know, they aren't as good as others! blah blah blah)

The power of SPAM 101

I sold an item to a guy on eBay, and after a week or so, with no emails from him, I figured it was time to use the power of the spam!

open item on ebay --> view payment details --> send a reminder invoice

do this once, or, if you want a reponse, do this quite a few times (it will give them a strong impression in their mail box) :D

this lesson was brought to you by:

Chris, Le Chic

Palm Treo 650

I've had this phone since it was first released in the USA, and I've got to tell you, this phone is a piece of crap!

seriously.. with all of the technology they put in to phones these days, this phone was no where close to the high reviews it received! so, let's review:

Pros

1: phone looks nice
2: touch screen

Cons

1: phone's camera is crap (some people care about the camera on the phone. I don't)
2: no voice dialing (you have to pay for an app for this)
3: no smtp email program (you have to pay for one)
4: ugly OS (operating system)
5: bluetooth is very slow

ok, I know this is a really vague review - but seriously, this phone isn't worth the price.

I'd rather have a blackberry, or something along those lines (the new blackberry, that is,) which is a phone that actually has a nice looking OS, a better keyboard, etc.

another person to dispose of

it seems as if retardation is practically an epidemic these days as I always seem to run in to STUPID people all of the time..

look at this seller here (pgraysto123) on eBay! I say ship these people to Congo or some where.. good riddance

god that picture makes me cry.. KFJSADFKLJDSAFKLDFJAKLSFJDAKSJFAD.......... ugly beast

firefox trackpad scrolling fix

if any of you use a mac (iBook or Powerbook) and also use Firefox, you might be getting the same problem that I've been getting since updating to version 1.0.7

When you are using two fingers to scroll on a site, if you go up and down, it will scroll up and down on the site. if your fingers move left and right, it will actually switch pages back and forth, which can happen accidentally when you try to scroll up and down! it's extremely annoying, and you might not even realize that this is the reason it's happening.

if you want to fix it, go to your address bar in Firefox and type "about:config" without the quotations.

it will then bring up a config log, and you can search by key words. just do "mouse" or "mousewheel" so you can easily find the key list you're looking for. you'll be looking for 2 codes

mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.action
mousewheel.withnokey.sysnumlines

the first should be set to 0 (the default is probably 2)
and the second should be set to false

this will remove horizontal scrolling. you can't move left and right thru large sites (like you can in Safari) but that's the price you pay for using a browser that wasn't intially designed for a mac.

you're welcome!

faux critics

I was at a mall (not your typical mall. this is more of an upscale mall with some boutiques, etc. - I don't go to 'malls') and I'm going to the lower level on an escalator that has several people behind me, and what do I hear?

(two people - it's a couple who is a woman and a guy)

woman: (sarcasm in voice) oh, wow, look! it's the same thing they have every year! stripes! (commenting on a gap store. of all stores! wow, she must know fashion! she can rate the gap! idiot)
guy: laughs

so, I look back after I get off, and I see the guy in a northface fleece sweater, and the girl in this hideous outfit.. the Gap (as cheap as it is) would have made them look 1 million times better.. since when do ugly people start to comment on fashion?

later on, I went to Louis Vuitton to look at some things, and it was pretty busy inside the boutique (half of the staff of women that worked there were asian! and they were gorgeous, too! god bless them) with people. as I'm looking around, I see this guy, who, in my personal opinion, looked like crap, and I thought he was just in there looking around at things he wouldn't buy. well, after a little bit he came up to me and asked if I needed any help! you can imagine my surprise when I noticed that he actually worked at the boutique!!

he was wearing black loafers, black pants, a white button down shirt, black tie, and black sweater over it. now, I know what you're thinking; "that sounds nice," and in most cases it would be.. but his clothes looked out dated and blah...... plus, he had a horrible face :(

this saddened me, until a Japanese lady that worked there came up and started to talk with me, then my happiness was reinstated.
